Philly Thrive and allies have stopped fossil fuel expansion at Southport Marine Terminal! After over a year of campaigning, six major protests, and hundreds of people taking action, we have won a huge, concrete victory over oil and gas in Philly. Thanks to Thrivers and our allies, we have taken a first step towards reclaiming our right to breathe.

We are showing what happens when people come together. We are building a movement for our right to breathe that crosses communities, race and class. Together we are powerful, and we can stand up to corporations and sway our elected officials. This is proof that building campaigns for the long haul makes change happen.

There is significant work still to do in continuing to oppose fossil fuel infrastructure in Philadelphia. But it's also so important for us to celebrate our victories as a movement, and we can't wait to do that with you all on December 13th!
