This is the first action in the series to keep the PES oil refinery from being sold to another polluting company! Check out the full calendar here.

This training will set the tone for the actions throughout the month! At the training we will hear stories about activists who have protected their land & communities from unwanted development of different kinds. We will strategize together about actions we would consider taking to prevent the refinery from reopening and resuming its deadly pollution. The training will include a visit to the PES refinery to practice holding space there.

All are welcome, whether you are new to direct action or someone who has experience with encampments, blockades, and other tactics. Refreshments & childcare provided.
